The sign of your coming?
Matthew chapter 24: verses 2 to 31
Here in Matthew 24 The disciples ask Jesus to show them the sign of His coming?
2. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
(Jesus is saying; do you not see all these things; speaking of the temple they were in, and near; buildings of the temple; Jesus gave a prophesy that came to past in 70AD.)
(After the death of Herod Agrippa I, the procurators were put back in charge, however in 66 A.D. the Jews instigated a rebellion against Roman rule. In 70 A.D., after a 143-day siege which began at Passover, a Roman military force consisting of about 30,000 troops under the command of Titus battered the walls and entered the city. They destroyed everything, including Herod's Temple, exactly as spoken by Jesus Christ 40 years earlier. The population and the great number of Passover visitors who had been trapped there were brutally slaughtered, with an estimated 600,000 to 1,000,000 people killed. Roman General Titus took the precious booty and treasury of the Jerusalem Temple back to Rome, where many suspect it remains to this day. (arch of Titus)
3. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world?
4. And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.(Warning Take Heed)
5. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
(as soon as Jesus was at the right hand of the Father many came deceiving many; So many today are deceiving many even greater today because we have print, the computer, and the cell phone.)
6. And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
(today there are so many wars going on, and rumors of wars that could start or not. 9/11 was a really big change on the whole earth; 9/11 effected everybody, and every country)
7. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
(there are and will be more earthquakes even in places that you would not suspect; There are more pestilences and famines now then ever before.) (https

(I am sure there are those of you who are saying, "Pestilence (disease) has always been present in the world, and we are better equipped today than ever to deal with them." True, God has blessed us with a wealth of technology with which to better diagnosis and fight disease, but, "Are we really better off today than say, 20 years ago?". Let's look at just the figures for a single one of these pestilences, the relatively new AIDS virus: Aids could and is able to kill every human.)
Jesus told us that pestilence will plague the world in this generation, and just as the other signs, will increase in frequency and intensity as we get closer to his return.
8. All these [are] the beginning of sorrows.
9. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you:
and you shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another,
and shall hate one another. Wow hatred is running rampant.
11. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Just watch Christian TV, or radio.
12. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
(Revelation chapter 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
(Toward the end of the great tribulation; (the last 3and half years) the gospel is preached to every living thing.)
15. When you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
(Daniel chapter 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.) (This one week is equal to 7 years; In the midst of the 7 year tribulation, at the 3and a half years the anti-Christ will be revealed. Satan will start killing all the Jews again.
This makes the last 3and half years ; The Great Tribulation.)
Satan, or should say the anti-Christ will set his thrown up in temple which was torn down in 70AD; The temple will be rebuilt; just before the 7 year tribulation starts, or right after it starts.
The Jews rebuild the temple so they can start making offerings, and sacrifices; like they did in the Old Testament.
16. Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17. Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18. Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20. But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21. For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.(Great Tribulation has started)
22. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
23. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here [is] Christ, or there; believe [it] not.
24. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25. Behold, I have told you before.
26. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, [he is] in the secret chambers; believe [it] not.(People are saying "Here is Jesus he has returned")
27. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30. And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
(Here rapture takes place at the end of Tribulation; in verses 29 and 30 we read that the sign not signs of Jesus return is; The sun and moon are darken; verse 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days; At the end of.) Verse 31; The angels gather together his elect. Rapture of the church.
